Is it too cliche, as an artist, that my favorite season is autumn? There is so much beauty in the death that precedes new life. And just like a tree needing to let go of its leaves, sometimes it is with things in life….and trusting that the new season will bring growth and fruit from what came before.

Here’s a sneak preview of the lyrics to my new song titled “Don’t Run.” It may or may not have to do with the previous paragraph….come to the next show and i’ll let you know.

SHOW IN LOS ANGELES!

Hey friends! Sorry for the slow updates but there’s a very good reason. For those of you who have been out of the loop, this past July, Neah packed up her bags and moved away from her beloved city of NY to the beaches of the west coast. SO THIS coming SATURDAY will be her first gig as an official California resident @ the 3rd Annual Pan Pacific Film Festival’s outdoor stage. Neah will be on from 4:40 til 5:15 and will be joined by up-and-coming singer-songwriter, Will Kim. She’ll be doing originals with some new arrangements including a few covers…and of course she’ll be doing some cool things with her loop pedal….so come and check out Neah’s performance and show this east coaster some California lovin’.

Spring is here and it’s time to get busy!

So after taking a bit of a hibernation during the winter, I’m ready to play….and not just play outside but play more music! Spring is here but it’ll soon be summer…seems like it comes more quickly every year. I love warm summer nights when NYC is at it’s best, alive and moving, with people keeping cool with their icy, cold drinks listening to fresh new music. So be on a look out for concert dates in NYC, hopefully with my adjunct band consisting of James the bassist, and Jason the drummer. This summer, we shall try to conquer the NYC music circuit…one venue at a time. In the meantime check out upcoming concert dates in April and May! Hope to see you there!

Radio Interview and Performance

Recently I was asked to do an interview and live performance for an English program of a radio station called KCBN (Korean Christian Broadcasting Network). I’ve had the honor to be on the radio several times in my life, even having a brief stint as a radio DJ in college…and I’ve realized that I will never get used to hearing myself speak..*cringe* I salute all you DJ’s, newscasters, public speakers, preachers and all others who daily take on the task to communicate eloquently, clearly, and powerfully to the listening world.

BTW, Leonard Bernstein, please don’t roll over in your grave for the way I may have butchered your quote.
